About

The Young American was created out of the idea that young people who are interested in politics should have a place to come together and share their ideas. And in May of 2007, “Think Youth” was launched. As an organization of politically progressive teens and young adults, we feel that through through our stories, our articles, and our message, we can have an impact using information as a tool to help educate others on the importance of being politically active.

In August of 2008, Think Youth was invited to attend the Democratic National Convention as part of the general blogger pool.

On December 29, 2008, Think Youth became The Young American.
